Keeli Escapes from Nursey...Again

On Sunday we went to a baby blessing and after church we went to go get Keeli from nursery but she was no where to be found.  This is not the first time she has escaped from nursery.  Keeli and some of her nursery buddies discovered how to open the doors in their classroom and take turns roaming the halls until someone brings them back.  The teachers have to block the doors with tables now and watch the kids like hawks.

She made her escape after nursery this time when everyone was being picked up.  As we were searching for her, Eric finally found her with a woman in a different ward in the hallway.  Somehow she had managed to get into sacrament meeting, walk to the front of the meeting, climb the stairs to the pulpit and proceeded to wave to everyone sitting down.  She was waving and waving and finally a woman in the audience Keeli kept waving especially to picked Keeli up and took her to the hall where Eric found them.

That's hilarious! Sneaky little girl. Our nursery has those childproof things on the door knobs. They also recently got a stair gate that they put up at the door when church is over. They all huddle around the gate watching out in the hallway for their parents. It reminds me of on movies when there is a box of puppies for sale and they slowly get picked! Maybe you could make those suggestions to your nursery!

She is TOO funny! :) Sounds like she's used a lot of "get out of jail free" cards. haha I can just imagine her up there waving to everyone. Not shy at all is she!?! :)

We really need to come up with a better system in nursery. I'm so sorry she escaped! But it is a funny story. =)

Oh my gosh... I am laughing out load, seriously! I love miss Keeli! I can just picture it all now! I do remember her escaping when Kurt and I were in nursery with her... she literally is gone in a blink of an eye! :)

Thanks so much for letting Avery sit with you today! I'm glad she behaved so well! :)

That's very funny! Maybe the church could invest in an electronic lock-down system with video monitoring :)
